Meet the artists at the opening on Saturday June 3rd 2017 as Greek artist Vassilis Karakatsanis and Liza Krügermeier show their colourful works in this joint exhibition. The exhibition runs until July 6th 2017.
Vassilis Karakatsanis approaches his work with a theatrical attitude using a rich colour palette and vivid contrasts. Liza Krügermeier interprets her motifs in a very graphic way, creating strong and colourful images. Together, the two artists compliment eachother with their different contribututions to this exhibition.
Greek artist Vassilis Karakatsanis (1957) is educated at the Athens School of Fine Arts and the faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona. He lives and works in Athens and has exhibited in numerous galleries across the globe. He has received many international awards and his works are included in several public collections in art museums.
Liza Krügermeier (1974) has since 2003 run Liza’s Gallery with partner Rupert Sutton. She has exhibited her work in different countries and has produced a successful range of art products.
