Travel between the Senses

An exhibition of works by Abdulhamid Abdalla and Liza Krügermeier. 5. September – 18. October 2020.

On Saturday September 5th, Liza’s Gallery opens the exhibition ‘Travel between the Senses’.

Syrian artist Abdulhamid Abdalla was born in Al Hasaka in Syria in 1974. He studied Fine Arts at the University of Fine Arts in Damascus. Since 2003 he has been living and working as an artist in Germany. In his work, Abdulhamid Abdalla pursues the idea of unity between the sexes, seen through an intercultural and historic perspective. He deals with issues such as sex and spirituality, inner rising, death and rebirth.

At this exhibition, Liza Krügermeier presents an intimate series of paintings, all self biographical works with stories from her own life which are full of personal and existentialist content. She makes life flourish and colours come to life.

The exhibition can be seen until October 18th 2020.
